Hello everyone! I'm looking for new PSLs for this nerd, David "Dave" Stutler from the movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice (aka another cheesy Disney/Nic Cage movie). Awkward, dorky physics nerd who recently discovered he has magic powers - the heir of Merlin's magic to be exact. His canon is urban fantasy, so he's easy to crossover with those kind of canons, but I can roll with anything. I'd kill for Balthazar and of course Becky, but that's almost impossible, so yeah. I'd love to explore his new life as not-so-normal and dealing with both the regular and the magic world. Also open to shipping (I can make a note of him breaking up with his canon interest some months after the movie, both m/f and m/m are fine for him). I’m not picky about mediums and I can brainstorm AUs just fine!

I also have Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians. He’s having gen threads just fine in his game, so in his case I’m only looking for two things. One, fellow Guardians and the kids to do some adventure and bonding after the movie. And two, shippy AU stuff with human!Bunny or Hiccup from HTTYD.

My timezone is GMT-3, and my tagging is kinda slow, one or two tags a day. I can boomerang a bit on the weekends, but I rely 100% on backtagging, I'm searching for a partner who likes making PSLs last. I'm not opposed to memes but I like museboxing better. melodiesoflife continues on the fantasy genre, but in Final Fantasy flavor, and has a modest Zelda cast, with Midna of TP. The dragons are probably going to be sized down, but I think would be allowed to remain as dragons (with the likely side effect of freaking some people out in town...?) It has a good balance between lighthearted and silly downtime to the more serious themes and consequences of player actions, so if that appeals to you you could check it out perhaps!

Well... Depending on what you're interested in.... [Unknown site tag] is a fun game, very back tag friendly, sort of slow and with definite light AC running on a two strike system.

The basic idea behind it is that characters have been drawn into a new world to fight strange creatures - and have been given magic (replacing any old powers they may have had) in order to better fight against the forces of darkness. It's pretty fun!

...And on the completely other side, there's townofsalem. Same basic deal on pacing, but it's basically a smut/horror/monster transformation game. So. If that's not your thing, I wouldn't want to go into details. >,>

I think melodiesoflife fits a lot of your preferences! It's slow up to medium during events, backtag friendly, player-affected adventure plot, can be light-hearted SOL in downtime, and the narration is downright silly at times, I love our scenario-writing mods. It has castmates too, for MLP:FiM, and another Zelda game. ♥ Alas, apps won't open again until New Year, but at least by then, unlocking normal abilities characters had at home would already be possible.

Also, you can create an extra character dynamic because everyone who makes it in gets their own Moogle who you tailor as an OC of sorts. And another added bonus, AC is pretty easy! It's why so many players here tend to have multiple characters with ease.

I'd really adore Sans here (I'm still contemplating Asriel for later), though I've yet to ask if skeletons are allowed to remain skeletons and maybe get mixed up with the standard encounter ones...? But you have a lot of cool muses, so really, props! I hope you find a nice game for your muses.

Hi! I'm looking for somewhere to play Elliot Alderson from Mr Robot! He potentially also comes with a cast of Darlene and Tyrell.

Elliot is a complex character who hacks his way into eveyone's personal life and has a truckload of mental issues, so in order to stay IC I'd prefer somewhere small or low-key, focused more on player-run plots than ongoing mod plot. A network is absolutely necessary, and if there are already some smart tech-savvy characters from other canons in the game that would be a bonus. Regular motivation to socialize with others would be great too. I don't really like fuck-or-die, aphro etc so probably no sex games, otherwise I'm willing to give anything a look! Mostly I just wanna know what's out there.

I also love cross-canon shippy psls so feel free to hit me up for some 1-on-1, especially if we've threaded in a meme.

Hi there! I wonder if you're familiar with futurology? It's a relatively new game which seems to fit your preferences!

It is indeed mission-based - basically characters have been drafted into helping this organization called ALISTAIR in going to different locations and different times to complete missions in order to protect the timeline. Each mission is supposed to last several months I believe, and the current one involves finding a way to resolve a conflict between humans and goblins in a fantasy setting while also trying to find a way to restore the sun, which happens to have gone out.

It is a backtag-friendly game and so far is has moved at a fairly slow-medium pace. There has been a good amount of log action too, although I'm not sure offhand if I'd say it outweighs the network's activity or not. What else? OCs are indeed allowed! And out of all of your offerings, the only one with cast would be Amethyst. It is indeed a small one, with my Steven as well as a Pearl and Peridot (all of us are pre-Catch and Release, by the way).

There is actually a test drive currently and apps should open on December 1st! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know!

Apps are currently closed until January but cerealia seems like it may fit your standards? It has a mix of an overaching plot and slice-of-life elements, and there is some fantasy in the setting too!

The premise is that everyone's universes have apparently been destroyed, but a shady company named CERES has been working on restoring everything from a backup code known as the Nexus Code, and all the characters in-game are people restored from that code. They're set to live in this very scifi city with the option to play a big virtual reality game. Really everyone's getting suspicious about the situation and trying to look into the secrets that CERES might be hiding. There is also a large and dangerous jungle outside the city that can be explored, as well as elemental beings who lie on the planet!

The game is very backtag-friendly. Intro logs and events can tend to explode with activity and hit captcha, but things usually settle down into a smoother pace afterwards. For activity you need to have two proofs per month (with just a check-in for your first month). Each proof can be a thread with at least 10 comments or a network/log post by your character that has at least four comments. The game does have a number of fourthwallers and people friendly to fourthwalling as well, you'll probably be fine if you check with people through a Permissions post.

Aaand two of your characters have canonmates there! Although I'm in neither cast myself. There is a Viridi who recently joined, as well as a Zestiria cast! (I haven't played Zesty yet, but I think Rose might be the only party member missing?)
