Hi, so, I play this derp with a Kairi over at genessia. It's a pretty fun, laid-back game. Everyone is super warm, friendly, and welcoming! If you're interested, we'd love to have anyone you have to offer, but a Roxas would be sheer love.

It's a no-app, no AC game- and, in spite of the non-apping environment, they do try to make sure everyone remains as IC as possible. Aaaand they will remove people for outright character-squatting. Other than that, though, they're reasonably lenient.

ALSO. They accept CR and memories from other games, so Sora and Kairi remember hanging out with a Roxas. I, personally, think it'd be fun. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hello! If you're willing to give AUs a look though I play Asch along with many other Abyss players at bravenewworld. Might be a good place to put Anise, we have a Luke, Sync, Jade and Arietta (an Ion and Guy on reserve.) Plus all sorts of other wonderful characters from a range of canons.

The premise involves Pokemon and your character is apped in with special powers, considered one of the Enlightened. The Luke and I used this to give them telepathy, so it's almost like having their canon abilities if you can match them up accordingly. You mentioned you were looking for Slice of Life and though our game does have an ongoing plot during those off times it becomes super slice of life-y. At least for me, and I prefer games on the more causal side too. (To each their own of course.)

Can I interest you in a game called alteredstates? It takes place in an alternate version of New York City where your character arrives via the Hudson and at some point determines that the river has given them some kind of power (could be anything, really). The AC requirement is only 5 comments per month, though the game is mostly prose based. We're very friendly to backtags. And we have a Castle, a Beckett, and an Alexis (I play Alexis, actually) and we would looooooove to have a Ray Price Ryan. Can you dig it.

Alternatively, I play Castle at asgardeventide and the Beckett there and I would love a Ryan too, but it's a pretty fast moving game and the AC is substantial.

Are you okay with games on Insanejournal? Because I'd love to see Sayaka or Hime at marinanova! It's a slow-medium game set in an underwater prison, and feels very sandboxy - sometimes there's slice of life and sometimes there's action, with frequent events. Powers are only nerfed the first day the character spends in prison, provided they behave & their powers aren't too apocalyptic in scale.

I don't know about your preferences for AU games, but I'd love to see some more Bleach folks over at savetheearth! If you're not familiar with the premise, the characters start out as normal people in a modern setting and slowly regain memories and powers of the original character! Your "reincarnated" character can be as similar to or as different from the original character as possible. Like Zangetsu here is an albino baker with the distinction of SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY turning into a sword monster. The game can be fast, especially during events, but it's pretty easy to find a niche and hang out in it.

Hey ATP, I've really been jonesing for a good horror/survival game for this guy right here: John Watson (BBC Sherlock)

Lately I've been feeling nostalgic for the old game formula of there being "experiment/problem/prompt" a week, and sometimes special events once a month ect. so the closer to that, the better. Most games these days are a bit too slice of life for my taste, but I'm open to suggestion.

I HAVE. no castmates to offer you but since your josing for a horror game i figured id point to a couple places.

I don't play there any more, so it would be hard for me to give you clear insight about it, but exitvoid gets a lot closer to the plot-a-week theme that you're looking for. I think theres a 1:2 day ratio and every in game week theres a little sub plot to get involved with. the big events are like any other, but also rifts, which youll have to look at, but the last one I was in was pretty dead space i believe!!! the game shifts settings every year also. it's a neat setting id check it out!! -and there also appears to be an elementary sherlock there.

OTHERWISE i would point you toward havenrpg where i do play!! and haven is wonderful, ive never met a nicer playerbase than this one. It's survival horror, with some like TRULY horror plots going on that are absolutely fantastic. theres experiments and yao and sluethy stuff. we used to have a small sherlock cast but they dropped a little bit ago (and im still sad about that because sherlock is so amazing), but id certainly love to see john there!! apps are processed i think on the 16th so you have time! and i can answer any questions you have about this game \o/

Ignore the journal! I have a hugely (canon?) AU version of Rupert Giles that I would love to find some roots for. He comes from the novel/s The Lost Slayer which can be summed up as a mid-season 4 AU where Giles is the king vampire of Sunnydale and LA.

Pace is right and it's not slice of life. Villains are needed and are generally allowed to make trouble, if not necessarily get away with it. (It's a small place and violence, etc. is expected). There's a bit of nerfing, only to make it easier for the humans to fight back, but he'll stay a vampire. Other Buffy verse vampires were on board as inmates, but there's nobody there now.

We have: johnny joestar and lucy steel.

It's a medium paced game that takes place in a twisted version of Wonderland. Mod and character plots show up every other week or so. The genre is basically what you make of it. As the mods say: "It gives you opportunities to cover the serious, silly, sad, sexy and everything in-between."

We live off backtags, so that definitely would not be a problem!

There's also the fun part of the mirror world which is completely optional, where a twisted version of your character lurks. Always watching from behind the mirrors.
